http://www.linuxcd.org/ is selling CD with Linux distroes, is it a legal site? I am curios, since Linux is mostly GNU stuff.

Why are they selling it? You can download for free? Or order a CD for free (from some distros anyway)...I don't get it :-D

Some people don't have cd burners. Some people don't have the knowledge.
Others like me support the open source community instead of sponging off of it. The price they sell cd's for just barely makes them a profit and the money goes back into linux on a lot of resellers.

Other people like the assurance they are getting a quality, no errors, burnt cd.

Yeah, the first time I tried Linux I bought a CD, 'cause downloading an ISO would take like a week on a 33kbps modem.

That was back in 1998 :)
