I am adding Or want to add exteranl Hard drive and exteranl DVD drive but both are not being recognized by Linux. I am a tried and true Windows fan but have always heard of how Linux is so great, so far the actual OS seems very user friendly but not adding my extra hardware. Can someone help me concede to Linux and stray from Windows? I have read and heard all the stories but none to help me in my current situation. I really want to stay and learn but getting to the point of installing windows on my new pc.
