I first thought it is my GPU, but got drivers for it, and still couldn't change my resolution, i went to system-administration-display and next to screen it just says syncmaster(auto configured), i tried changing it to generic LCD 1440x900, then it says i must restart, i do it, but when rebooted, it stays the same, at 1152x864. can anyone please tel me where i can find drivers for my samsung 932gw monitor? thanks psypherrr

You only need to restart the X server. Easiest way to do it is CTRL+ALT+Backspace Just a quick timesaver for you. :)
