Subject: Ntfs Usage in Hardy Heron

Hey hows it going i just installed linux not to long ago and i have NTFS usage under read only provisions and when i try to put it as read write it says error this drive is in use already. I have tried to force it to work but it does not. I have tried in konsole system settings and properties of the drive, system settings is the only way i can make it work. When i try to apply read write privlages it just sits there and stalls/does nothing. Any ideas?

Next question:

ATI graphics card Radeon 9200

I cannot install the catalyst drivers, when i try to it unpacks to the temp location and then i get an error saying could not verify version of x server or something like that

I have x server installed and when i go into the services menu under system settings it says "start at boot: yes" "status: not running" so when i try to start the service it will not, it just sits there and does nothing. Any advice would be a great help!

First of all, what distro are you running?

As per the NTFS: unmount your drive/partition first and then remount it as read-write.

As per ATI: http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Main_Page
