ReactOS is a descendant of the late FreeWIN95 project. Even though it isn’t a beauty contest winner, it’s the inside that counts. There’s even a DirectX compatibility subproject called ReactX. Will they succeed in making a complete open source OS, compatible with Windows binaries? I don’t know, but they already have something very cool for us to play with!
